What is DOC and what is PDF

DOC is the document format of Microsoft Word 97–2003, and many old documents, templates and archives still use it. Such files may open with broken formatting in newer programs or on a phone, or not open at all. Converting a DOC file to PDF gives you a document that looks the same on every computer, tablet and phone and is ready to send, publish or print.

The conversion runs on our server with LibreOffice, which keeps the text, fonts, images, tables, headers and footers and page layout of your document. If a document uses a font that isn't installed on the server, a similar font is used instead. Files up to 25 MB are accepted and are deleted from our server within 15 minutes. You don't need Microsoft Word or any other software, and there's no registration. DOCX, ODT, RTF and TXT files can be converted here too.
