A notepad that keeps your note

Online Notepad is a simple text editor that opens in your browser at once, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Type or paste a text, give it a title and format it with the toolbar: bold, italic, underlined or crossed out, aligned left, center or right, as a numbered or bulleted list, in one of five fonts and seven sizes. The counter under the editor shows the number of words and characters. Everything you write is kept in this browser as you type, and the note is still there when you come back, even after closing the tab or restarting the computer.

The note never leaves your device: it is stored in this browser only, so it is not sent to any server, and it won't be on your phone if you wrote it on your computer. In a private window, it is deleted when the window is closed. To keep a copy, use “Download .txt” for plain text or “Download .html” to keep the formatting, or “Copy” to paste it elsewhere. “Open file” loads a .txt or .html file of up to 10 MB, and “Print” prints the note alone. “Clear” empties the notepad, and Ctrl+Z brings the text back if you cleared it by mistake.
