What is DOCX and what is PDF

DOCX is the document format of Microsoft Word, but a DOCX file can look different on another computer, in another program or on a phone, and anyone can change it. A PDF keeps the layout fixed: the document looks exactly the same everywhere and is ready to send, publish or print. That's why CVs, contracts, invoices and official documents are usually sent as PDF.

The conversion runs on our server with LibreOffice, which keeps the text, fonts, images, tables, headers and footers and page layout of your document. If a document uses a font that isn't installed on the server, a similar font is used instead. Files up to 25 MB are accepted and are deleted from our server within 15 minutes. You don't need Microsoft Word or any other software, and there's no registration. DOC, ODT, RTF and TXT files can be converted here too.
