    How the word frequency counter works

    Paste or type any text, and the tool counts every word in it: how many times it appears and what share of all words it makes up. The list updates as you type, with the most frequent words at the top and a bar that shows at a glance which words dominate. Switch to phrases of two or three words to find repeated expressions, or sort the list from A to Z to look up a word quickly.
