How to generate email addresses

Step 1

Set how many addresses you need (up to 500) and choose the domain: a mix of popular providers, one provider or your own domain.

Step 2

Keep numbers on or turn them off, choose a plain list or CSV and generate the addresses.

Step 3

Copy the addresses or download them as a TXT or CSV file.

What the generated addresses are for

Developers and testers need email addresses to fill in sign-up forms, seed databases, check imports and build mock-ups. The generator combines common first and last names in the patterns people really use, such as anna.smith, j_miller or leo.berg1987, so the data looks natural. Every address in a batch is unique.

The addresses are made up, but some of them may exist and belong to real people, so never send emails to them. For test messages that are actually sent, use example.com: this domain is reserved for documentation and testing. With a custom domain you can create addresses for your own test mail server, and the CSV format adds first and last name columns. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to our server.
