Remove all empty lines or keep one between paragraphs
Copy the result or download it as a text file
Text copied from websites, PDF files, emails and chats often comes with empty lines in random places: two or three between paragraphs, one after every line or a few at the end. Paste the text here, and all empty lines disappear at once, while the lines with text keep their order. A line with nothing but spaces or tabs looks empty, so it is removed too, unless you turn this option off.
If the empty lines separate paragraphs and you want to keep them apart, choose “Keep one between paragraphs”: every run of blank lines becomes a single one, and the empty lines at the start and at the end are removed. The counter shows how many lines there were, how many are left and how many were removed. To join all lines into one paragraph instead, use the line break remover.
